Left Behind (2014)
The entire planet is thrown into mayhem when millions of people disappear without a trace. Working on a team of vfx artists at Post Mango, I created scenes for the feature film “Left Behind”. The sequence involved an airplane crash landing complete with flaming wings, lost landing gear, and ended with a screeching halt inches away from a chemical tank. My primary roles included 3D sculpting, lighting, keyframing, and rotoscoping.
Dog Man (2015)
Baton Rouge-based River Road Creative & Highland Road Films document the life story of world renowned Louisiana Dog Trainer, Dick Russell (1938-2011). The movie explores how Russell first got into dog training 50 years ago, and the enormous ‘paw print’ he left in Baton Rouge and the national dog training community. I worked on a team of editors to transcribe footage, assist with interviews, and produce edited sequences for the film.
A Guide’s Day Off (2015)
Follow Captain Lucas Bissett on his day off, as he fishes the beautiful Louisiana marsh lands south of New Orleans. I produced, shot, and edited this short promotional film for Orvis along with my partner at Omaha Orange Media, Ethan Engemann. The project took us deep into the coastal marshes, where we endured 90° heat over the course of multiple days capture the perfect shots of the region’s unique beauty.
